On the 12th of May, 1803 the Peace of Amiens ended and the war between France and England resumed. This is the first book in the Napoleonic Horseman series.

The series is unique ( I think) in that it shows the war from the perspective of both the English and the French as well as having a hero, Robbie Macgregor, who is a confidante, first of Napoleon and latterly, the Duke of Wellington.
