On the 26th of May I will be publishing the first book in a new series. Conquest is the story of the Norman Conquest of England, Scotland and Wales. I have written about this period before in my Aelfraed series (Housecarl, Outlaw, Varangian). This time I am writing from the viewpoint of the Normans although my hero has housecarl blood in him. I have written about the battle using as many sources as I could to get as accurate picture as possible. Of course history is always written by the winners.
